The Hampton Roads Metropolitan Medical Response System (HRMMRS) is now able to operate using a new tent system which provides a center for triage and treatment with more features and improved flexibility. The ASAP Rapid Shelter System by Deployed Logix is a shelter capable of deploying in the harshest conditions with minimal time and personnel.
This tent system was designed for rapid deployment with quick, two-person, 60-second setup and can connect with other tent systems already being used by HRMMRS including the Base-X and Western Shelter tent. The new tent system also provides better protection from the elements because it’s connected not only with ground pads throughout but also an interlocking gutter system which prevents rain from getting inside the tent. And once staked down properly, this tent can withstand winds of up to 60 miles per hour.
Additionally, it is a modular system that offers great versatility as it’s size can be scaled depending on need. The tent is designed with a central hub which quickly connects to extensions and allows creation of more usable space as needed for the task. The L shape design of this new tent system is a big improvement when it comes to workspace and privacy and features like multiple hooks and enhanced LED lighting are also a big plus.
