About

If I had a dollar for every time I had heard someone say “I’ve got underwear older than you” I’d probably not have a need to work in EMS. The problem with this statement is that it is not isolated to that of colleagues, it can extend to managers, trainees, students, and many others. Young people who fall into this category likely already have become successful in some attribute of their career. This is just one challenge that young leaders must face in order to remain successful in these roles. If we are to pave the way for these young leaders to gain experience to lead the next generation of EMS professionals, we must first identify the challenges that prevent their success. This presentation will explore these challenges and how young leaders can overcome their influence.
