The TEMS funding covers conference registration, hotel, air travel and local travel costs.
As a condition of the grant support, the individuals will bring back and share information learned during the conference on the topic of community paramedicine which is the focus of the Mobile Integrated Healthcare Summit and a developing trend in EMS.
Price is a nationally registered paramedic who is affiliated with Northampton County EMS, Nansemond-Suffolk Volunteer Rescue Squad and Isle of Wight County Emergency Services. Willet is also a nationally registered paramedic and is affiliated with Suffolk Fire and Rescue.
