Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) is recognized around the world as the leading continuing education program for prehospital emergency trauma care. The mission of PHTLS is to promote excellence in trauma patient management by all providers involved in the delivery of prehospital care. PHTLS is developed by NAEMT in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons' Committee on Trauma.
February 15 & 16, 2020 at IWVRS. (Must register by Feb. 5th)
This is a Two-Day course and Certified by NAEMT. A 4 year certificate will be issued after completing testing by NAEMT.
This course is being sponsored by Isle of Wight Vol. Rescue Squad and no cost for the student. It is recommended to bring your lunch for each day.
There are 15 seats for this course and IWVRS members are getting first registration before posting to the paid staff.
